Fearing repercussions by the Turkish government, Hollywood studios would not even consider a script set against the backdrop of the Armenian Genocide. But thanks to the tenacity of the legendary Kirk Kerkorian and the dogged pursuit of Armenian General Benevolent Union Board member Eric Esrailian (to whom Kerkorian entrusted a lifelong dream), the Armenian story 102 years in the making will be told as never before in a major motion picture.
